ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Retail Associate plays a key role in providing excellent shopping experience by assisting customers with their purchases, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and supporting inventory management efforts. The individual in this position must be friendly, customer-focused, and have strong organizational skills.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

• Provide excellent, knowledgeable and friendly service to all customers and staff
• Process payments accurately, handle cash and credit card transactions using point of sale system.
• Assist with quality control (including monitoring product freshness and appearance)
• Keep candy trays and containers filled and clean
• Arrive to work on time and when scheduled
• Assist with monthly inventory count/orders
• Stock retail freezer
• Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including specialty coffee drinks, by operating espresso machines and other equipment.
• Efficiently serve ice cream and other frozen treats, including taking orders, scooping ice cream, preparing sundaes or milkshakes,
• Ability to work flexible schedule as assigned including weekends.
• Perform light janitorial duties
• Responsible for adhering to company policies as delineated in the Employee Handbook, Code of Conduct and Retail dress code
• Other duties as assigned.
