Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team at our Richardson facility located in Galena Park, TX. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and processing incoming payments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial transactions, and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding invoices, ensuring timely payment from customers.
- Prepare and send invoices to customers.
- Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
- Verify billing data for accuracy and resolve customer's billing issues by communicating with customers and other stakeholders.
- Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as operations and accounting.
- Assist with month-end closing processes.
Qualifications:
- 5-7 years billing experience
- Proven working experience as an Accounts Receivable Specialist or similar role.
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices, and collection regulations.
- Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software.
- Adobe Acrobat
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
Required Certifications: Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), or Certified Credit and Risk Analyst (CCRA).
