Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and Supervise: Manage a team of crane operators, technicians, and maintenance staff.
- Optimize Performance: Monitor and enhance crane productivity and efficiency.
- Ensure Safety: Uphold strict safety protocols and industry standards.
- Maintenance Oversight: Schedule and oversee routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
- Resource Management: Allocate cranes based on cargo volume and vessel schedules.
- Budget Management: Handle the crane operations budget and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Training and Development: Train new operators and foster a safety-conscious culture.
- Emergency Preparedness: Develop and implement contingency plans for emergencies.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: Minimum 10 years as a crane operator with supervisory experience.
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge: Expertise in various crane types and safety regulations.
- Certifications: Crane operator training program certification, OSHA certification, and TWIC credentials (or willingness to obtain).
Work Environment:
