Job Title: ERP Project Manager

Location: Phoenix Metro Area

Hours: 25-30h/wk

Office hours: M-Th with some remote work as determined by the client.

Overview: We are currently seeking an experienced ERP Project Manager to join our team in the Phoenix Metro area. This role is ideal for someone who is ready to step into a dynamic position immediately, managing projects related to Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. The successful candidate will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of ERP projects, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Lead ERP project teams through all phases of the project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, ensuring resource availability and allocation, and delivering every project on time within budget and scope.
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
• Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
• Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
• Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Report and escalate to management as needed.
• Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
• Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

Qualifications:

• Proven working experience as a project manager in the information technology sector, specifically with ERP systems.
• Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies.
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management tools.
• PMP / PRINCE II certification is a plus.

Education:

• Nice to have: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience:

• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project management in IT, specifically with ERP implementations.
