ENT & Facial Plastic Surgery Specialists of Shady Grove, serves our community by deliveringcompassionate, comprehensive, patient-focused ENT, aesthetic care in the most effective manner. We are seeking an exceptional, highly motivated, skilled, and engaging professional to fill a Front Desk Receptionist position in our busy practice.
Schedule: Full Time, Mon- Fri
Pay & Benefits: Commensurate with experience. In addition to salary, the benefits package includes paid major holidays, vacation/sick time, health & dental insurance, and 401(k), and other benefits.
Primary Duties Include:
- Interact with clients and visitors in a positive, warm, caring, and friendly manner.
- Answer incoming calls and schedule appointments, collect patient information and payments.
- Meet and greet patients and other visitors in the reception area.
- Notify physicians of incoming calls from outside physicians.
- Assist medical assistants by calling outside facilities for test results.
- Verify insurance card for appropriate coverage at time of patient visit.
- Review and follow referral procedures.
- Respond to physicians instructions for faxing/mailing signed medical documents.
- EMR experience is a plus.
- Responsible for keeping a visible organized and tidy work area.
- Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
- Experience working as a team member in a healthcare environment
- Minimum 2 year medical office experience
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to perform multiple tasks in a busy office environment
- Pleasant and outgoing personality
- Strong attention to detail
- Professional appearance and communication style
- High volume practice experience
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Adaptable, proactive and quality-focused
- Computer proficiency - Word, Excel, Outlook
- eClinicalWorks experience is a plus
