Audiology Administrative Assistant Responsibilities Include :
Verifying patient insurance
Communication with patients around appointments, hearing aids, and payments.
Processing Certified payments
Chart documentation activity related to patient services.
Scanning all records and patient paperwork.
Managing hearing aid repairs, drop offs, and new orders.
Cleaning hearing aids.
Checking hearing aid function and completion of basic repairs.
Assist in Selling Hearing Aids
Supply & Inventory Management
To successful in the role of Audiology Administrative Assistant :
Excellent interpersonal skills are a must.
1 year of administrative medical office experience preferred, though not required.
Experience with patient registration, insurance eligibility, authorizations and familiarity with medical terminology is preferred, though not required.
Ability to handle a busy office with interruptions, calls, walk-ins.
