Patient Service Representative

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Patient Services Representative to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a medical or dental setting, possess strong organizational skills, and excel in patient interaction.

Duties:

- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar efficiently
- Verify patient information and insurance coverage
- Collect co-payments and process payments
- Answer phone calls and address patient inquiries promptly
- Maintain patient records accurately and ensure confidentiality
- Coordinate with medical staff for patient care needs
- Utilize medical terminology appropriately

Qualifications:
Required Skills:
- Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist, or similar role
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance
- Proficiency in medical office systems such as EPIC is a plus
- Familiarity with medical terminology and front desk operations

Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience working in clinic setting
