Role Overview :
The Account Director will be responsible for overseeing and managing key client accounts and reporting into the GAD – ensuring the delivery of high-quality experiential marketing campaigns and seamless project execution. This role will involve leading client strategy, collaborating with internal teams, managing budgets and timelines, and cultivating strong, long – lasting client relationships. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, results – driven professional with experience in experiential marketing, exceptional communication skills and a passion for creative problem solving.
Key Responsibilities :
Client Management :
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key client accounts, building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships.
- Lead client strategy sessions to understand business objectives and translate them into creative and impactful experiential marketing solutions.
- Actively manage and nurture client expectations, ensuring that projects align with their goals, budget and timeline
- Collaborate with clients to develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and measure the success of campaigns
- Provide regular updates to clients on projects status, timelines, deliverables, and any potential issues or challenges.
Project Oversight :
Lead cross-functional teams in the planning and development and execution of experiential marketing campaigns, including events, playbooks, decks, activations, pop-ups, and other brand experiences.Work closely with creative, production, and logistics teams to ensure the vision for each campaign is realized within budget and on timeManage project timelines, budgets and resources, ensuring deliverables are met and quality standards.Ensure that all campaign elements are executed with attention to detail and creativity, adhering to brand guidelines and client specificationsIdentify and mitigate risks, resolving issues promptly to avoid disruptions to project timelines or client satisfactions.Team Leadership & Collaboration :
Lead, mentor and motivate a team of account managers, coordinators and other project staff to ensure projects are delivered effectively.If in the US – you will be required to fly in monthly to Canada to support, lead the team and contribute to scheduled financial meetingsCollaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless project execution and high-quality outputProvide guidance and support to team members on client communication, project management and creative strategies.Financial Management :
Oversee account budgets, ensuring that projects are delivered within budget and financial expectations are met.Work with clients and internal teams to approve estimates, review invoices, and manage billing cycles.Track and report on project profitability, making recommendations for improvements when needed.Review contracts and agreements to ensure all financial terms are clear and adhered to.Business Development & Strategy
Identify opportunities for additional business within existing accounts, proactively pitching new ideas and services that align with client’s goals.Support new business development efforts by participating in pitch meetings, developing proposals, and presenting agency capabilities to potential clients.Stay up to date on industry trends and innovations, bringing fresh ideas and strategic insights to clients and internal teams.Experience & Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, business or related fieldMinimum 5-7 years’ experience in experiential marketing, event management or client services, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role. Agency experience preferred.Strong knowledge of experiential marketing trends, tactics and best practicesProven track record of managing client accounts and delivering successful campaigns on time within budget.Excellent project management skills, with experience handling complex, multifaceted projectsStrong leadership and team management abilities, with collaborative and hands on approach.Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and team members.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and adapt to changing client needs to market conditions.Proficiency with project management toolsCreative problem -solving skills and a keen eye for detail.Understanding of digital marketing integration with experiential campaigns.Why Join ENT!
