ENT Specialists, Inc. is a group of physicians, nurses, medical assistants, audiologists and support staff dedicated to providing high quality ENT services to patients in four communities.
Our Brockton location is seeking a full-time experienced Medical Call Center Representative.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Full-time , Monday through Friday, with varying workload, flexibility a must.
- Call Management: Handle an average of 60 calls per day, addressing patient inquiries, scheduling appointments, and managing follow-up communications in a friendly, professional manner.
- Appointment Scheduling: Coordinate and schedule patient appointments, and verify patient information .
- Insurance Knowledge: Provide patients with information about insurance coverage, verify insurance details, and assist with any insurance-related inquiries or issues.
- Fax Management: Process and manage appointment requests and other relevant documents that are faxed to our office. Ensure timely and accurate handling of these documents.
- Data Entry: Accurately enter patient information and appointment details into our electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing patient concerns professionally, providing clear information, and ensuring a positive experience for each caller.
- Coordination: Work closely with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and resolve any scheduling conflicts or issues that arise.
- Compliance: Adhere to HIPAA privacy regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
Qualifications/Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience: Previous experience in a call center or customer service role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Skills: Excellent communication, empathetic, patient-focused approach to customer service, with the ability to handle a high volume of calls efficiently.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with insurance procedures and medical terminology.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using call center software and EMR systems. Basic computer skills are required.
- Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in scheduling and data entry.
- Team Player: Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with medical staff.
