Medical Assistant DFW Float
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures.
- Perform vital signs, height, weight, and other assessments.
- Assist physicians with examinations and minor procedures.
- Administer medications as directed.
- Educate patients on diagnoses, treatments, and post-operative care.
- Manage patient charts and electronic medical records.
- Order and maintain medical supplies.
- Ensure sterilization and safety protocols are followed.
- Maintain a clean and organized examination room environment
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Otolaryngology or a related field preferred.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Strong commitment to patient care and quality improvement.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in sterile technique and infection control procedures.
- Basic computer skills and EMR experience preferred.
