CI/CD Engineer

Job Summary:

· We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CI/CD Engineer with expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) to enhance our development processes and automate deployment workflows.

· This role is crucial in integrating best practices for continuous integration and continuous deployment, ensuring efficient and seamless software delivery.

· The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, QA, and marketing operations, to streamline and optimize software releases.

· This position requires on-site presence in Cambridge, MA for three days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

CI/CD Pipeline Development & Automation:

· Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automating Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) deployments.

· Implement best practices for version control, build automation, deployment, and testing.

· Develop automation scripts and tools to enhance deployment efficiency and reliability.

Collaboration & Integration:

· Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to integrate CI/CD best practices into the software development lifecycle.

· Ensure CI/CD pipelines support agile development and facilitate smooth releases.

· Collaborate with marketing and analytics teams to align deployment processes with business objectives.

Monitoring & Optimization:

· Monitor and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines, ensuring system reliability and minimizing downtime.

· Establish and maintain robust documentation for CI/CD processes, tools, and best practices.

· Stay up-to-date with latest industry trends, tools, and methodologies to continuously improve the development pipeline.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

· 3 years of experience in CI/CD engineering, DevOps, or related roles.

· Hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) including Automation Studio,

· Journey Builder, and Data Extensions.

· Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Bitbucket Pipelines, or similar.

· Strong understanding of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).

· Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.

· Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer or Architect certification.

· Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

· Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

· Familiarity with marketing automation and digital engagement strategies.

· Experience working in an Agile development environment.

Pay: $60.00 - $75.00 per hour
