About the Role:
EnTech is looking for a Full-Time “Resident Engineer” to oversee and manage transportation and transit projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of various capital improvement projects with a focus on safety, quality, compliance with project specifications, and requirements.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
● Leading the Construction Management (CM) team, and ensuring that all work complies with project specifications, safety standards, schedules, and budgets.
● Manage and Document all meetings on site including site meetings and
coordination meetings
● Liaise with contractors, project managers, and other stakeholders to maintain
project timelines and resolve field issues.
● Conduct site inspections, prepare reports, and document progress in accordance
with regulatory and quality standards.
Required Qualifications:
● A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Architecture.
● The candidate should possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in the construction management field.
● Professional Engineer License (PE).
● OSHA 30-Hour Safety Training.
● A positive attitude and good work ethic.
● Excellent communication skills.
● Experience working with MTA.
Preferred Qualifications:
● MTA Track Training
● NACE Certification
● Experience inspecting structural and painting projects.
● Working experience with MTA, PANYNJ, NYCDOT, NYSDOT.
Estimated Annual Compensation:
$187,000 - $228,000
