About the Role:
EnTech is seeking a “ Senior Structural VDC Engineer” to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Design/generate/analyze/update parametric virtual smart Building Information Models (BIM)
- Create BIM models for sub/superstructures and generate 4D & 5D simulations based on project schedules/allocated budgets
- Develop/review structural drawings/construction engineering plans/specifications, layouts/technical reports for infrastructural facilities
- Monitor/coordinate structural/architectural/mechanical/HVAC/MEP designs, ensuring development & integration of structural design/3D geometry;
- Perform clash detection/interdisciplinary coordination/risk mitigation/constructability analysis
- Create customized structural elements & resolve construction issues using visual programming software
- Coordinate between trades (e.g., structural & MEP) using Navisworks. Manage to ensure project consistency/constructability
Required Qualifications:
- MS in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of experience in structural design/analysis, Virtual Design & Construction (VDC), BIM, and 4D & 5D simulations
- In-depth understanding of construction coordination processes & construction techniques
- Strong skills in analytical/numerical simulations & structural detailing/drafting
- Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D/Revit/Navisworks/Autodesk APIs/Dynamo
- Familiarity with ACI 318/AISC Steel Construction Manual/LRFD/ASD
