Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Asphalt Project Manager to lead and oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of asphalt paving and roadway construction projects. This role requires a strong background in asphalt paving/resurfacing, roadway rehabilitation, and site development.
The ideal candidate will manage all phases of construction, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of asphalt paving and roadway construction projects from start to finish.
- Coordinate project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and efficient project completion.
- Collaborate with estimators, subcontractors, suppliers, field crews, and clients to ensure seamless execution.
- Review and interpret construction plans, specifications, and RFPs to guide project execution.
- Monitor and report on project progress, including cost tracking, work schedules, and quality control.
- Identify and mitigate construction risks, conflicts, and challenges proactively.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and company standards on job sites.
- Provide leadership to foremen, crews, and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support value engineering efforts and implement cost-effective solutions when appropriate.
- Conduct site visits to assess progress, resolve issues, and maintain strong client relations.
