Location : Bangor, ME
Engineering firm is seeking a Structural Staff Engineer (EIT or PE) with approximately 3 years of experience. This is a full-time position within a busy and growing Structural Engineering Group. The firm serves markets including commercial, industrial, institutional, healthcare, recreational, and government projects throughout New England. This position will be based in Bangor, ME.
Responsibilities :
- Prepare calculations under the supervision of an experienced engineer using current material and building codes and relevant design standards.
- Utilize design software such as Ram, Enercalc, and RetainPro.
- Work in Revit to assist with preparing drawings and sketches, including completing redlines.
- Operate effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Conduct fieldwork to survey existing conditions or review project conformance with plans.
- Exhibit flexibility to adjust schedules as needed to meet project requirements.
