Senior Project Manager / Director / Vice President - Land Development Engineering Firm

About the Company : Our client, a well-established Land Development Engineering firm, is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager, Director, or Vice President with aspirations to grow into a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) or Chief Operating Officer (COO) role. Key Responsibilities :
Project & Client Management
- Oversee and manage multiple land development and civil engineering projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget constraints.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, regulatory agencies, and project stakeholders.
- Develop project scopes, schedules, and budgets while ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
- Lead public presentations and regulatory approval processes.
Operational & Financial Oversight
Support senior leadership in operational decision-making and long-term business strategy.Contribute to budgeting, project profitability tracking, and financial forecasting.Assist in contract negotiations and manage subcontractor relationships.Ensure efficiency in project execution, maintaining quality control and risk mitigation.Leadership & Team Development
Lead, mentor, and develop engineering teams, including Project Engineers, Engineers, and CADD Operators.Support the recruitment, retention, and professional development of staff.Provide direction and strategic planning for project execution and team collaboration.Strategic Growth & Business Development
Identify and pursue new business opportunities and client relationships.Support marketing and proposal development efforts to expand the firm's footprint.Develop strategies for long-term firm growth with a clear path toward leadership succession.Qualifications & Experience :
Education : Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE) required.Licenses : Professional Engineer (PE) license required.Experience :10 years in civil engineering, land development, and project management.Experience as a Senior Project Manager, Director, or Vice President with leadership responsibilities.Strong track record in client management, project execution, and business development.Technical Skills :Extensive knowledge of local, state, and federal land development regulations.Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Project) and general knowledge of AutoCAD.Leadership & Growth Potential :Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Ambition to transition into an executive leadership role in the future.Why Join Us?
