Job Summary : As a Workers' Compensation Defense Attorney, you will be responsible for representing employers, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators in all aspects of workers' compensation litigation. You will handle a caseload of workers' compensation cases from inception to resolution, providing expert legal counsel and ensuring the best possible outcomes for our clients.Key Responsibilities : Represent clients in all phases of workers' compensation litigation, including trials, hearings, depositions, and mediations.Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and briefs.Provide legal advice and counsel to clients regarding workers' compensation claims and related matters.Prepare and manage discovery, including conducting depositions and interrogatories.Negotiate settlements and participate in alternative dispute resolution processes.Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure efficient case management.Stay current with developments in workers' compensation law and attend relevant continuing legal education (CLE) programs.Qualifications : Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Active and in good standing with the California State Bar.Strong knowledge of California workers' compensation laws and regulations.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Ability to manage a high-volume caseload efficiently.Commitment to providing exceptional client service.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.#J-18808-Ljbffr
