Pay Rate : $16.00-$18.00 / hr based on experience
Shift : 1 st (6 : 00am-2 : 15pm), Full-Time, Contract / Temporary
Entech Staffing is seeking a Die Maintenance Technician for a Metal Stamping Plant in Goodrich, MI. This is a full-time, 1 st shift contract / temporary position with the opportunity to go direct based on job performance, attitude, attendance, etc. The Die Maintenance Tech repairs tools, dies, and fixtures as required by manufacturing. Theyll also operate various tool room equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Reads and interprets blueprints, including metric prints.
Calculate formulas and angle functions.
Sets up and runs various tool room equipment required to maintain tools, dies, and fixtures.
Trouble shoots dies, tools and fixtures.
Completes and maintains records and logs as required for the job.
Maintains assigned equipment and work area for safety and cleanliness.
Good reading, writing, mathematical, listening, communicating skills, and organization skills.
Must be physically able to perform job duties.
The employee must occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to work overtime as needed.
High school diploma or GED is required.
Candidates must pass a background check in accordance with company policy and applicable laws.
