Entech Staffing Solutions is looking for a Financial Aid Intake Specialist at an educational institution in Flint, MI. This position is Part Time (19 hours per week). Pay Rate: $17.63/hr.
Job Duties:
Process financial aid applications and verify supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness.
Provide excellent customer service to students and their families, responding to inquiries in person, over the phone, and via email.
Assist students with completing financial aid applications and navigating the financial aid process.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and institutional financial aid regulations and guidelines.
Maintain accurate and confidential student financial aid records.
Utilize computer systems to process and track financial aid applications and related documents.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery for students.
Participate in training and professional development opportunities to stay current with financial aid policies and procedures.
Support other financial aid department activities as assigned.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Proficiency in using computer systems and databases; knowledge of financial aid systems is a plus.
Previous experience in financial aid, higher education, or a related field is preferred but not required.
