Stand-up Forklift / Dunnage Clerk
Shift : 1st (8 : 00 AM 4 : 30 PM)
Pay Rate : $14 / hour $2 / hour Attendance Bonus
Position Summary
We are looking for a dedicated Dunnage Clerk to join our team. This position will be responsible for maintaining the dunnage room and supporting warehouse and shipping operations. The role reports to the Production Manager and will involve a variety of tasks in the warehouse environment. Steel-toed boots are required for this position and must be worn during the interview.
Primary Duties :
Identify, label, and record materials in the warehouse to maintain proper inventory.
Store items in designated areas to ensure proper organization.
Place incoming materials on appropriate racks.
Clean dunnage totes and wash trays.
Operate forklifts, trucks, pallet jacks, and other equipment to move freight.
Put away supplies and ensure work area is clean at the end of each shift (organize pallets, clean floors, dispose of trash, recycle cardboard).
Perform general warehouse cleaning tasks.
Comply with all safety guidelines and warehouse rules.
Perform various miscellaneous warehouse tasks as needed.
Secondary Duties (as requested by Manager) :
Ensure daily restocking of replenishment areas.
Pull and verify materials based on production orders or customer requirements.
Use scanning and computer systems for tracking "work in progress"and "finished"goods.
Support shipping material handling tasks when needed.
Qualifications :
Forklift experience is preferred but not required.
Must have steel-toed boots.
