Location: Pontiac, MI 48342

Pay Rate: $18 - $26

Description: Technician

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation: Install new building equipment and systems in accordance with specifications and industry standards.

• Maintenance: Conduct routine repairs and preventative maintenance on building infrastructure, effectively addressing daily work orders and proactively identifying solutions to recurring maintenance challenges.

• Troubleshooting: Accurately diagnose and identify malfunctions and issues within building maintenance infrastructure and systems.

• Repair: Execute necessary repairs on damaged or malfunctioning building systems, including component replacement and system adjustments.

• Customer Service: Professionally interact with clients to understand their maintenance needs, clearly explain technical issues, and provide effective support in collaboration with the back office.

• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of all repairs, maintenance activities, and parts utilized through our paperless software system.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Demonstrated basic knowledge across various trades, including plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.

• Experience with general maintenance tasks such as tile work, concrete repairs, and addressing minor roof leaks.

• A positive attitude and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

• Ability to quickly learn and apply new skills and processes.

• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required for travel throughout Michigan and the Midwest.

• Proven ability to effectively troubleshoot and resolve a wide range of building maintenance and infrastructure issues.
