Developer (Python/Java)

Entech is hiring an Developer (Python/Java) for a financial services client. This is a hybrid role that involves working onsite in Malvern, PA, 3 days per week.

Responsibilities:

• Provides intermediate level system analysis, design, development, and implementation of applications and databases. Integrates third party products.
• Ability to create AWS cloud applications.
• Support new and modifications to existing integrations using AWS cloud technology.
• Translates technical specifications into code for moderately complex new or enhancement projects for internal clients.
• Writes programs, develops code, tests artifacts, and produces reports.
• Employs software development techniques to ensure tests are implemented in a way that supports automation.
• Elevates code into the development, test, and production environments on schedule.
• Provides follow up production support.
• Participates in design, code, and test inspections throughout the life cycle to identify issues. Participates in systems analysis activities

Qualifications:

• 3 5 years Python experience
• Understanding of Java
• CI/CD pipeline experience
• AWS certifications a plus (AWS Cloud Practitioner)
• Web Front-end development experience (Typescript, React, Angular) a plus

* (Having DB2/SQL Cobol experience is helpful (extra plus, but not required)
