Entech is hiring an Developer (Python/Java) for a financial services client. This is a hybrid role that involves working onsite in Malvern, PA, 3 days per week.
Responsibilities:
- Provides intermediate level system analysis, design, development, and implementation of applications and databases. Integrates third party products.
- Ability to create AWS cloud applications.
- Support new and modifications to existing integrations using AWS cloud technology.
- Translates technical specifications into code for moderately complex new or enhancement projects for internal clients.
- Writes programs, develops code, tests artifacts, and produces reports.
- Employs software development techniques to ensure tests are implemented in a way that supports automation.
- Elevates code into the development, test, and production environments on schedule.
- Provides follow up production support.
- Participates in design, code, and test inspections throughout the life cycle to identify issues. Participates in systems analysis activities
Qualifications:
- 3 5 years Python experience
- Understanding of Java
- CI/CD pipeline experience
- AWS certifications a plus (AWS Cloud Practitioner)
- Web Front-end development experience (Typescript, React, Angular) a plus
* (Having DB2/SQL Cobol experience is helpful (extra plus, but not required)
*We are looking for candidates willing to work directly on our W2.
