What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accountant position at Entegee?
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 3 years of relevant experience preferred, with a strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP); IFRS experience is a plus.
- CPA or MBA/MAcc preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily accounting tasks, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
- Assist in preparing audit materials and supporting annual financial audits.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and compliance with accounting policies.
- Research general ledger details and transactions to support other departments as needed.
- Assist with tax preparation and filings, ensuring timely submission.
- Support the month-end consolidation process.
- Provide financial analysis and support to corporate teams.
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations to validate accuracy.
- Contribute to the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes by preparing journal entries.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial reporting processes and identify efficiencies.
- Assist with ad hoc projects and reporting requests as needed.
- Maintain compliance with U.S. and international regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, EU, HC, TGA, PIC/S, ISO, USP, NRC, cGMP).
