What are the responsibilities and job description for the Aerospace Engineer position at Entegee?
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent
- 12 years of experience.; or a Master’s degree and 9 years’ experience.
- CAD software (SOLIDWORKS), and exposure to finite element modeling (NASTRAN, FEMAP, ANSYS, or equivalent).
- Occasional travel to CONUS & OCONUS locations (Alaska, Hawaii, Asia, etc.); Passport Required
Preferred:
(12 ) years of experience in aerospace engineering and design, in both Military and Civil aviation
- Actual hand-on Structural Integration
- Knowledge and actual Participation in FAA STC Approval process; military Airworthiness process
- Experience with composites, fracture mechanics, and government regulations (FAA)
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and test instrumentation
- Experience with basic principles of statics, dynamics, strength of materials, and stress calculations.
- Experience in using NASTRAN, AFGROW, and other analysis tools
