Contract to hire
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and integration of aircraft electrical systems and modern avionics equipment
- Analyze and translate requirements into system, hardware and software designs and interface specifications
- Research and select electrical components, develop electrical system designs, and work with DERs to justify designs to regulatory authorities.
- Perform systems functional analysis, product sourcing, and create technical reports.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Professional Aeronautics, or related field
- Development and test by appropriate commercial or military regulatory requirements, such as RTCA DO-160, MIL-STD-810, RTCA DO-178, RTCA DO-254,SAE ARP4754A, SAE ARP4761, AMACC, 14 CFR Part 27
- Contribute to the analysis and translation of complex requirements into avionics system architectures
