What are the responsibilities and job description for the Civil Designer position at Entegee?
Summary:
Seeking an experienced Civil Designer to develop grading, drainage, and site development plans, create permit drawings, and produce construction documents with minimal guidance.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in grading, drainage, cut and fill balancing, and site development
- Proficiency in creating site cross sections and drainage schemes
- Experience in developing Civil 3D models and drawings
- Ability to produce civil plans, sections, and details independently
- Knowledge of concrete and steel design is a plus
- Surveying experience is a plus but not required
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare site, grading, drainage, and civil design documents
- Create permit drawings for submission to governmental agencies
- Develop plans, sections, and details from engineering sketches to completion of construction documents
- Collaborate with engineering staff on civil, drainage, and site design
- Coordinate construction drawings with other disciplines for compliance and accuracy
Pay Details: $42.00 to $57.00 per hour
