CNC Machinist

Summary: Seeking a CNC Machinist for a 3-month contract to set up, operate, and program CNC Milling machines with a focus on plastic materials.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in CNC programming and G-code
• Knowledge of plastic materials and machining properties
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Familiarity with precision measuring tools

Preferred Skills:

• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Understanding of geometric tolerances

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC machines according to production specifications
• Load raw plastic materials; select appropriate tools and fixtures
• Perform machine calibration, adjustments, and testing before production
• Program machines using G-code or related languages
• Adjust machine settings for optimal performance
• Diagnose and troubleshoot machine errors

Pay Details: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
