Summary:
Seeking an experienced CNC Programmer with expertise in Mastercam and G&M codes for programming turning machines in a job shop environment.
Requirements:
- 4 years' experience as a programmer utilizing turning tools
- Proficient in Mastercam and G&M codes
- Ability to work a 10-hour shift, plus every other Saturday for at least 5 hours
- Job shop experience
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with SolidWorks
Responsibilities:
- Program turning machines using Mastercam and make edits to G&M codes
- Assist machinists and communicate with Engineering for part processing
- Interpret GD&T, sketches, drawings, and heat treatment specifications
- Model modified tooling for clearance checks and use solid models in Mastercam
