What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical Designer position at Entegee?
- An electrical designer with AutoCAD Electrical experience
- An electrical designer with a background in controls design
- Microsoft Office applications, namely Excel and Word & Familiar with the NEC
Designer with AutoCAD Electrical
- Motor controls, DC/AC, Some sizing and blueprint interpretation
- Draw start/stop circuit
- Overhead crane control system experience is a plus.
Experience RequiredV
FD; Familiarity with appropriate NEC and UL guidelines and processes
- Ability to manage multiple projects with a mix of technologies and deadlines
- Design experience utilizing computer-aided design using AutoCAD Electrical
- Develop drawings and documentation as required on a “per job” basis
- Assist in training of control panel assembly technicians and apprentice
- Assist in organizing and maintaining project components and panel shop inventory.
- Provide list of materials to be purchased on a per job basis to the purchasing manager.
- Complete schematic or wiring diagrams as required by job.
- Complete panel layout diagrams for panel assembly.
- Design festoons/E-Chain and order all required materials.
- Complete a pendant assembly diagram and order any materials that are not routinely kept in inventory.
- Review runway conductor and current collector requirements and release orders for these materials.
- Provide as built drawings prior to equipment ship date based on changes by crane assembly personnel.
