What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical Engineer position at Entegee?
12 month contract
The Electrical Engineer candidate shall have a B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar Degree.
The candidate shall have proven skills and hands-on experience for at least 5 years in the following areas:
- Power Distribution and control Panel Design, calculating and estimating loads, for single phase and three phase systems. For low Voltage: 24 VDC, 120V AC, 240 VAC, 208V AC, 277V AC, and 480V AC. Following UL508 and NEC guidelines.
- Medium Voltage Power Distribution and switch Gear Design, calculating and estimating loads, for three phase systems: 2300V AC, 4160V AC, and 13,800 V AC. Following UL508 and NEC guidelines.
- Some levels of experience with Hazardous area Electrical design and considerations for Class 1and Class 2, Div 1 and Div 2.
- Proficient and familiar with Developing Electrical Installation Packages for professionally going out to Bids for Electrical Contractors.
- Familiar with Control System Architectures and Industrial Networking (ModBus RTU, and ModBus TCP) is a plus. Comfortable and knowledgeable with PLC systems and HMI and Distribute Control Systems. DeltaV is .
- Very Familiar with Instrumentation design and principle of Operations. 4-20 mA signals, 2 vs 4 wires Instrumentations for different process variables. Flow, Level, Pressure, Temperature, etc.
- Ideally the candidate shall have some level of experience or exposure with Process control design and Packaging line Designs. Electrical Safety Circuits using E-Stops, etc.
- Ideally the candidate shall have experience with Motor Control Centers design, and Variable Frequency Drives (VFD’s) for AC motor control.
