Sr Network Engineer
70-75/HR

***MUST HAVE EITHER CCNP OR JNCIP***
Responsibilities:
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining our complex IP network infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.
- Strong understanding of Cisco and Juniper technologies, routing protocols, network security
- Design, implement, and maintain a secure and highly available IP network infrastructure.
- Provide Tier III support and troubleshooting for complex network issues.
- Conduct network performance monitoring and analysis to identify and resolve bottlenecks.
- Implement and manage network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and VPNs.
Qualifications:
- Active DoD Secret Clearance (required)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 7 years of experience designing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale IP networks
- Extensive experience with Cisco routing and switching platforms ASR, Nexus, Catalyst)
- Extensive experience with Juniper routing and switching platforms (e.g., MX, PTX, EX)
- Strong understanding of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP)
- Experience with network security technologies (firewalls, IPS/IDS, VPN)
- Experience with network monitoring and management tools
- Certifications (required): CCNP or higher (e.g., CCIE) and JNCIP or higher (e.g., JNCIE) - specific certifications can be specified based on the role's needs (e.g., Security, Enterprise, Service Provider)
