What are the responsibilities and job description for the Structural Engineer position at Entegee?
The ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual who can manage a project with oversight from proposal phase to construction administration.
- Bachelor’s degree in a Civil or Structural Engineering
- 10 years of experience (preferably in structural design for heavy industry)
- Licensed as a professional civil or structural engineer in Virginia or the ability to be licensed in Virginia
- Mid to senior-level structural focused engineer, preferably with experience in heavy industry
- Experience with finite element analysis software (RISA, STAAD, RAM, SAP2000, etc) which would translate to an understanding of our commonly used software
- Design programs include RISA 3-D, RISA Foundation, RISA Connection, Excel, Mathcad, AutoCAD, Advanced Steel, Revit, and Hilti Profis
- Excellent people and communication skills (oral and written)
