Summary: Seeking a Structural Mechanic II for 2nd shift to assemble and fit detail parts and structures using various tools and techniques.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, use a 6" scale, and perform basic shop math
Preferred Skills:
- 1 year of related structural assembly experience
- Familiarity with Solumina and Smarteam
- Graduates of the Savannah Tech Aircraft Structures Technical Certificate Program may receive one year of experience credit
Responsibilities:
- Assemble and fit detail parts, performing varied drilling and riveting tasks
- Use portable riveting guns, pneumatic guns, drills, countersinks, files for structural assemblies
- Follow blueprints, work orders, sketches for operations sequence
- Inspect work to ensure defect-free assembly before final inspection
- Maintain accurate logs like MIR sheets, DMTs, Crabs, PCOs
- Align and assemble parts using jigs, clamps, pins for precision
- Maintain a clean work area in support of the company's 5S Program
Pay Details: $20.00 to $23.00 per hour
