What are the responsibilities and job description for the Systems Integration Engineering Professional position at Entegee?
Responsibilities: You will be responsible for ensuring the schedule and technical quality of complex engineering and programming tasks while becoming familiar with client expectations, project scope, budget, and timelines. You’ll provide on-site support during system startup and collaborate with other team members and the discipline lead to coordinate tasks. The primary focus will be on the configuration and programming of facility management system PLCs and HMI/SCADA interfaces. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary, interactive team that designs electrical circuits and panels using CAD tools, develops control systems for various facility processes, and creates solutions and optimizations for process control, instrumentation, and automation systems.
Requirements:
- Associate of Applied Science Degree in Electronics or Instrumentation.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in Industrial System Integration.
- Proficiency in PLC and SCADA systems.
- Experience with Rockwell and GE/Emerson PLCs.
- Familiarity with Inductive Automation Ignition software.
- Ability to interpret Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) following ANSI/ISA S5.1
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Access, Outlook, Excel).
- Experience with Cimplicity™ and Rockwell programming packages.
- Background in semiconductor, industrial, or general industrial facilities.
- Experience across various areas of industrial automation, instrumentation, electrical power, and building automation system design.
- Experience with installation, calibration, and maintenance of pressure, temperature, flow, and level instruments.
- Knowledge of the operation, safety, and application of common analytical instruments such as pH and conductivity.
- Strong understanding of analog, digital, and relay field wiring, including troubleshooting.
- SQL server experience.
- Experience with building industrial control panels.
- Ability to specify instrumentation and valves.
- Proficient in AutoCAD.
