Tooling Designer

Summary: Seeking experienced Tooling Designers skilled in Solidworks and plastic injection molded tools for high-volume production projects.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Solidworks
• Strong background in plastic injection molded tools
• Experience with both hard and soft tooling
• Familiarity with class 101 molds
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with high-volume production (hundreds of thousands to millions of units per year)
• "White goods" tooling experience (e.g., refrigerators, washing machines)
• Automotive tooling experience may be considered based on parts/application

Responsibilities:

• Develop plastic injection molded tools using Solidworks
• Work on high volume, class 101 molds with typical 16 to 32 cavity tools using various plastics

Pay Details: $40.00 to $54.00 per hour
