What are the responsibilities and job description for the ERP Project Manager position at ENTEK?
ENTEK is seeking applications for a ERP Project Manager role to join us on-site at our Lebanon, Oregon location (relocation within 40 miles of Lebanon is required).
As an ERP Project Manager, you will work closely with the Information Technology Department and report to the Applications Manager. You will be able to provide focused functional and technical expertise for project accounting structure supporting ENTEK’s global manufacturing, distribution, and projects from implementation through operation support.
In this role, you will manage processes to ensure application configuration models, business process models, project, and deployment templates, testing scenario templates, and core reference or training material, are available for business partners’ related work. Your ability to work with high-level overviews, all the way through detailed tractional tasks and steps, will be an asset in your daily and project work. The understanding of how the processes, application systems, tools and users that you’ll bring to the role will support your success in contribute to business objectives and project goals at a high level.
Duties may include:
- Lead and manage project resources and scope.
- Manage team and business partners’ expectations.
- Track project progress to assess and mitigate any risks, manage deliverables, costs, timing and change requests.
- Collaborate with IT departments to deliver customer agreements.
- Direct project teams through status meetings, discovery workshops, task breakdowns, and other activities to ensure project execution.
- Leverage agile methodology delivery practices.
- Conduct cutover plans, post go-live support, and project close out.
- Engage regularly with key stakeholders throughout project lifecycle, including any coordination with 3rd party consulting vendors and IT leadership as necessary.
- Provide routine status reports and dashboards regarding the progress and health of each project.
- Monitor invoicing and expense reports, ensuring projects are adequately billed.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, five (5) years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Formal training in project management or strong experience managing ERP implementation projects from start to finish.
- Two (2) years of working with Microsoft ERP (D365, AX, NAV, GP) products.
- Experience planning and delivering projects that move software from on-premises to the cloud.
- Experience working in a collaborative team-oriented environment.
- Ability to work effectively with minimal to no supervision.
- Excellent written and spoken English, communication, and presentation skill.
- Working knowledge of data analytical tools.
- Professional understanding of Microsoft Office tools.
- Satisfactory results from a pre-employment drug screen.
- Satisfactory results from a pre-employment background check.
Preferred Qualifications
- SQL experience
- Familiar with third party services for the financial industry, such as tax calculations.
Working Environment
The hours for this role are Monday-Friday starting at 7:00 am.
This role is in an office setting and frequently requires sitting, working at a computer, hearing, reaching, and completing tasks that require use of hands and fingers for extended periods of time. The incumbent will occasionally be required to stand, walk, and may occasionally need to kneel, crouch, and climb stairs. If this role requires visiting the plant and/or shop floors, wearing eye and hearing protection will be required. The role requires specific vision abilities, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
