Maintenance Planner/Supervisor

ENTEK is seeking applications for a Maintenance Planner/Supervisor role to join us on-site at our Lebanon, Oregon location (relocation within 40 miles of Lebanon is required). This is a highly skilled position within the maintenance organization that requires prior experience with equipment, processes, and workflow within the facilities.

As a Maintenance Planner/Supervisor at ENTEK, you will work to improve workforce productivity and work quality by anticipating and eliminating potential delays from maintenance activities. This will be accomplished through scheduling, planning, and coordination of labor, parts and material, tools and equipment, required permits, specialized documentation and equipment access. You will be a key member of a cross-functional team that supports the improvement of plant reliability, the move from reactive to proactive maintenance work, and a safe work environment.

Your responsibilities will include the planning and scheduling of all non-emergency and recurring preventative maintenance work and preparedness for emergency maintenance work, as well managing ad hoc maintenance requests. As part of this work, you will develop integrated maintenance work schedules on behalf of the maintenance area supervisor/leads. You will coordinate with requesters, maintenance managers, facility managers, engineers, and craftsmen to ensure maintenance requests are fulfilled, work is properly prioritized, and resources are properly allocated.

In the Maintenance Planner/Supervisor role you will ensure schedules are completed, work orders are returned promptly and completed correctly. After which you will post job reviews to ensure adequacy of work performed and post maintenance testing and identify changes to maintenance programs and/or changes to equipment design and/or inventory management practices to optimize the overall maintenance process.

You will develop and maintain planner reference system libraries of standard schedules, planned job packages for recurring jobs to ensure timely maintenance, capture best practices and procedures, and support continuity of operations. You will also maintain appropriate records and files of maintenance work so ENTEK can conduct meaningful analysis and reporting of results.

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent years of experience.
• Good working knowledge of facilities equipment and O&M requirements.
• Strong understanding of skilled crafts such as HVAC, carpentry, electricity and electronics, mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, plumbing and pipe fitting, etc.
• Strong understanding of proper OSHA safety practices and procedures.
• Strong knowledge of work management processes, labor estimating, resource balancing, etc.
• Experience with or strong knowledge of CMMS systems and related systems/software.
• Strong oral and written English communications skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability for independent, reasoned decision-making.
• Demonstrated ability to be proactive in problem solving and to lead the resolution of equipment problems.
• Demonstrated ability to overcome obstacles in order to complete assignments in a timely manner.
• Technical writing skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and/or schematic diagrams.
• Satisfactory results from a pre-employment fit-for-duty screen and drug screen.

Preferred Qualifications

• Three (3) years of experience in a high-volume maintenance environment.

Working Environment

The typical hours for this role Monday-Friday, beginning at 6:00 a.m., but requires flexibility on weekends and after hours (including nights) in order to be responsive to the needs of the business.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, or sit for extended lengths of time. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move object weighing up to 50 pounds. This role requires specific vision abilities, including close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
