What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Associate position at ENTEK?
ENTEK is seeking applications for a Quality Associate role to join us on-site at our Lebanon, Oregon location (relocation within 40 miles of Lebanon is required).
As a Quality Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our products meet internal requirements and customer needs. You will test samples from the production floor to ensure compliance with supplier, ENTEK, and customer specifications. As a Quality Associate, your testing work will also including testing raw materials to ensure they meet supplier specifications. After testing, you will communicate results to the appropriate parties.
You will also test key equipment to ensure accurate results. A critical part of your job as a Quality Associate will be to test and verify that equipment is operating as expected and is returning accurate results. Your commitment to following safety procedures will be essential for maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.
Requirements:Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret a variety of documents.
- Ability to identify problems, gather data, analyze information, draw logical conclusions, and devise practical solutions.
- Ability to regularly rotate between workstations and tasks.
- Ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written English.
- Ability to accurately and completely complete documentation.
- Satisfactory results from a pre-employment drug screen.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a laboratory or quality control capacity, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with chemicals and safety procedures.
Working Environment
The hours for this role are Wednesday 12:00 am-6:00 am and Thursday-Saturday 6:00 pm-6:00 am Thursday-Saturday.
As a Quality Associate you will be responsible for handling or moving hazardous material. May occasionally be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, and chemicals. Requires the use of safety glasses/googles/face shield, gloves, lab coats, and hearing protection.
While performing the duties of this job, the incumbent is frequently required to talk, hear, sit, complete tasks that require finger dexterity. The incumbent will occasionally be required to stand, walk, kneel, crouch, and lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Role requires specific vision abilities including close vision, and ability to adjust focus.
