About this position
The Operations & Supply Chain Director is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the supply chain operations including procurement, manufacturer relationships, inventory management, and logistics. This individual will be responsible for developing and implementing processes for improving the efficiency of the supply chain and for ensuring that all vendors and partners are meeting their performance objectives. The Director will also ensure that the supply chain is cost-effective, reliable, and compliant with all applicable laws and regulations. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of supply chain management principles and must possess excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Enteligent is a young company and some processes and capabilities must be created to allow us to scale successfully. We are looking for someone who has strong experience in Manufacturing and Operations.
Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement supply chain strategies in alignment with organizational objectives.
2. Create and implement new processes and procedures to improve supply chain efficiency and reduce costs.
3. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to supply chain operations.
4. Lead the selection and management of suppliers, vendors, and third-party logistics providers.
5. Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers and vendors.
6. Manage inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
7. Develop and implement strategies to reduce lead times and improve product availability.
8. Monitor the performance of suppliers and vendors and take corrective action when necessary.
9. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate forecasting and planning of materials and products.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Manufacturing, Business, Engineering or a related field
• Proven experience in Supply Chain Management and Logistics
• Proven experience with manufacturing processes and manufacturers
• Knowledge of all aspects of Supply Chain, including planning, forecasting, inventory, warehousing and transportation
• Excellent communication, organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to speak Mandarin is a plus
• Manufacturing experience is highly desired
Salary : $120,000 - $150,000
