Plant Production Engineer
Location : Near Leland, MS

A leading chemical manufacturing company is seeking a Plant Production Engineer to drive process optimization and continuous improvement across formulation and related production units. This role will focus on enhancing safety, quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness , as well as supporting new product introductions and equipment design / commissioning.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead process improvement initiatives to maximize production efficiency and minimize variances .
- Implement Statistical Process Controls (SPC) to enhance safety, quality, and cost control.
- Optimize Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and troubleshoot production challenges.
- Maintain and update Bill of Materials (BOM), scrap factors, and production routings .
- Conduct root cause investigations and implement corrective actions.
- Support Management of Change (MOC) processes and ensure compliance with safety policies.
- Assist with capital expenditure (CapEx) projects, equipment commissioning, and plant personnel training.
- Collaborate with production, operations, and quality teams to drive continuous improvement .
