Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare, negotiate, and manage scope, schedules, and budgets.
- Prepare and manage monthly client invoicing.
- Manage and mentor project team.
- Manage a variety of land development projects through the entire lifecycle of the project.
- Participate in the firm’s seller-doer culture by developing and maintaining client relationships.
- Maintain quality control on all project deliverables.
- Provide and teach engineering best practices to project team.
- Participate in networking events to represent the firm and assist in developing new business.
Skills/Qualifications
- 5-15 years of experience on land development projects, including project management responsibilities
- Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Utah (or the ability to obtain licensure in 12 months)
- Previous experience and working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Must be able to use Microsoft Office 365, including familiarity with Teams.
- Must be able to interact and effectively communicate, both verbally and written, with team and clients.
- Strong land development grading and drainage technical skills and understanding.
- Ability to travel as needed for meetings and on-site inspections.
- Detail-oriented, professional attitude, team player, and self-starter.
- Proven track record of successful project execution, client management, and securing new work.
- Must be able to work independently/remotely while still meeting schedule and budget.
- Flexibility to work outside of regular business hours, if required.
