Job Description :
As an AutoCAD Mechanical Drafter, you will work with a cross-functional team of engineers, program managers, and manufacturing professionals to design and develop parts, assemblies, and sheet metal products to meet our customers’ specific branding needs. You must have previous design experience in a manufacturing environment, work well in a team, and have the ability to manage and adapt to unexpected project changes.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Design and develop drawings / models to meet customer specifications.
- Actively look for better ways to design products, including removing unnecessary complexity without sacrificing structural integrity.
- Train and develop new drafters as needed on both AutoCAD and signage industry processes.
- Create Bill of Materials (BOM) for new non-stock items.
- Work with cross-functional teams to complete projects on time.
