The Role
We are seeking a motivated and talented Software Engineering Intern to join our team. As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience in developing web applications using React for the front end, Ruby on Rails for the back end, and Go for high-performance services. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to work with Machine Learning algorithms and models, applying your skills to real-world projects. This is an excellent opportunity to expand your technical expertise, learn from seasoned engineers, and make a meaningful contribution to our products.

What you'll do:
- Work with engineers to design and develop new features for web applications using React, Ruby on Rails, and Go
- Contribute to building and maintaining backend services and APIs
- Assist in the development and integration of Machine Learning models and algorithms
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and data scientists
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing code and systems
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
- Learn new technologies and tools as part of your development journey
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Working knowledge of API's in customer-facing applications
- Working knowledge of JavaScript and React for front-end development
- Familiarity with Ruby on Rails or experience with web frameworks in general
- Experience with version control systems such as Git
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- A passion for learning new technologies and building high-quality software
