Job Summary & Purpose
Supports the Utility Rates & Pricing organization by ensuring that the growing data needs required for Operating Company rate filings and for internal reporting are provided timely through coordination with the appropriate IT, billing, and / or other data owners with the Company. Responsible for timely and accurate organization and coordination of the data required for the customer load research, external allocation factors development, regulated rate filings and the development of new pricing structures.
Job Duties / Responsibilities
Provide expert written and oral testimony and respond to discovery before the APSC, MPSC, PUCT, LPSC, FERC and the New Orleans City Council on load research, AMI data, or other data issues
utility operations and analytical methods and techniques employed in load research, external allocations and pricing and rate design processes;

Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills. Attention to details. Self-starter and requires minimal supervision. Advanced PC skills utilizing Python programming, experience in data analytics, database development, Microsoft Office and other business applications. Strong ability to develop detailed spreadsheets required. Ability to perform analysis and convert that analysis into a meaningful summary for which to make business decisions and recommendations. Excellent organizational skills and project management skills. Ability to prioritize work and work effectively on multiple assignments simultaneously. Flexible and able to adjust to changing priorities. Effective oral and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a diverse team setting. Willing and able to perform other duties as required and learn new processes and technologies.
