Job Summary : The Environmental Services (EVS) Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment within the Ranch. This role is crucial in promoting health and safety standards for patients, staff, and visitors. The EVS Housekeeper performs a variety of cleaning tasks in accordance with established protocols and standards.
Key Responsibilities :
- Cleaning and Sanitization : Perform daily cleaning and disinfecting of patient rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and other facility spaces, following infection control protocols.
- Waste Management : Properly handle and dispose of biohazardous and non-hazardous waste according to safety regulations.
- Floor Care : Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors, ensuring all areas are clean and free from hazards.
- Restocking Supplies : Maintain and restock cleaning supplies and equipment as needed.
- Reporting Issues : Identify and report maintenance needs or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
- Compliance : Adhere to all safety and health regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Customer Service : Interact courteously with patients, visitors, and staff, addressing concerns as appropriate.
