The ideal candidate will be skilled in phlebotomy procedures and have strong organizational and communication abilities to support the coordination of functional psychiatry services.
Key Responsibilities
Phlebotomy Duties (Approx. 50%)

Key Responsibilities
Phlebotomy Duties (Approx. 50%)
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws with precision and care
- Process and label specimens according to lab requirements
- Prepare and ship lab samples to third-party labs (e.g., Genova, Vibrant, DUTCH, etc.)
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and compliance in the phlebotomy area
- Track and manage lab supplies and inventory
- Ensure accurate documentation and communication with the clinical team
- Coordinate functional lab testing for psychiatric patients
- Assist in patient education on functional psychiatry tools and protocols (e.g., nutrition, supplements, testing)
- Schedule and follow up on lab results and psychiatry appointments
- Communicate lab results with providers and prepare summary reports as needed
- Maintain patient records and ensure proper documentation in EMR systems
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and case managers to support holistic treatment plans
- Act as a point of contact for patients navigating integrative care options
- Certified Phlebotomist (CPT or equivalent)
- Minimum 1-2 years of phlebotomy experience required
- Experience or strong interest in functional medicine, psychiatry, or integrative health
- Familiarity with functional lab testing preferred but not required (training provided)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Proficient in EMR and healthcare documentation
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Background in behavioral health, mental health, or addiction recovery
- Previous experience in a functional medicine or integrative health setting
- Knowledge of common functional lab companies and panels (GI-MAP, DUTCH, OAT, etc.)
