Enterprise Charter School (ECS) Overview:

Enterprise is a public charter school in Buffalo, New York educating children in kindergarten through eighth grade. Founded in 2003, ECS is committed to "Engaging young minds through projects and partnerships."
We pursue our mission through our Charter's key design elements, with our primary focus on highly engaging project-based learning, comprehensive arts education, and individualized instruction for enrichment and acceleration. Enterprise Charter School is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Elementary Teachers to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a nurturing, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment for young learners. As an Elementary Teacher, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on students' academic, social, and emotional development. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's Degree in Education and valid teaching certification.

QUALIFICATIONS

• A demonstrated interest in impacting K-8 students in urban schools and communities
• Understanding of formative and summative assessments. Expertise in i-Ready preferred
• Demonstrated excellence in teaching
• Skills in analyzing and using data to make instructional and behavioral decisions
• Experience, knowledge and background related to NYS Next Gen Standards
• Bachelor's Degree required, Master's preferred

Enterprise Charter School offers a competitive salary, health benefits and is a member of the NYS Teacher Retirement System. Position starts at $45,000 higher rate of pay based on certification and experience.
