Enterprise Electrical is a rapidly growing commercial electrical contractor based in Houston, TX, specializing in design-build projects. Enterprise is seeking a results-oriented individual with experience in the construction industry. Strong electrical project management skills are essential for the successful completion of electrical projects. Effective project management not only improves project outcomes but also enhances the reputation and success of the individuals and organizations involved. As an Assistant Project Manager, you will support our project management team in delivering high-quality electrical construction projects. You will collaborate closely with project managers, superintendents, and foremen, playing a crucial role in the execution and success of our projects.
Specific Responsibilities:
•Attends weekly and monthly meetings (internal and external).
•Develop and maintain submittal logs and project documents.
•Track and manage fixtures and equipment.
•Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and team members.
•Coordinate project start-ups and manage associated documentation.
•Gather and prepare construction closeout documentation.
•Ensure timely updates and compliance with project schedules.
•Ensure file management system is up to date with current project documents.
•Assist in the preparation and management of change orders and RFIs.
•Process miscellaneous project paperwork.
•Collaborate with field teams to provide technical support.
•Participate in safety planning and implementation.
•Perform take-off for project buyouts, change proposals, etc.
•Visits various job sites and interacts with crew, customers, foreman, and general contractors to ensure proper job progress and to support and encourage safe behavior.
•Participate in establishing project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within the boundaries of Enterprise Electrical policies.

Skills and Qualification
•Knowledge: Thorough understanding of industry practices with strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in MS Office Suite, and with industry software such as Bluebeam and Accubid.
•Client Relations: Develop and nurture positive relationships with clients by addressing their concerns and achieving project objectives while presenting professionally and adhering to company standards.
•Project Planning: Assist in the development of detailed project plans that outline the scope, objectives, budget, timeline, and required resources.
•Superior communication and interpersonal: Tact, diplomacy, influence, etc.
•OSHA-30 certification: If not currently certified, must be obtained within six (6) months within date to hire.
•Leadership: Ability to apply innovative and effective management techniques to maximize employee performance.
•Customer Satisfactory: Employment is contingent upon satisfying all jobsite-specific access requirements, with no outstanding restrictions from any jobsite or from working with any of Enterprises’ general contractors, owners, customers.
