Job Title: HR Generalist
Hourly: $60 - $75K per year ($30.00- $37.50 per hour) - depending on experience

Enterprise Electrical is a fast-growing Commercial Electrical Contractor based in Houston, Tx that specializes in Design-Build projects and we are looking to add an HR Generalist to our HR Team team. The best fit will be detail-oriented and people-focused. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting our employees and organizational goals by managing day-to-day HR operations, including employee relations, recruitment, compliance, and benefits administration
Specific Responsibilities:
- Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.
- Assist with mediating and resolving workplace conflicts in a fair and consistent manner.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Assist onboarding programs to ensure a smooth integration for new hires.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
- Assist in managing employee files and HR systems with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Assist with the design and implementation of performance review processes.
- Assist in managing employee benefits programs, including enrollments, changes, and inquiries.
- Liaise with benefits providers to ensure accurate and timely service.
- Assist with preparing and analyzing HR metrics and reports for leadership.
- Use data to recommend and implement improvements in HR practices.
- Coordinate and support employee training programs.
- Identify skill gaps and recommend learning opportunities.
Skills and Qualifications:
- [Preferred] bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- [Preferred] HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR).
- 5-10 years of experience in a generalist or similar HR role.
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, labor laws, and best practices.
- Proficiency in HR software and tools.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
- Problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
