Comments and Other InformationInitial Salary Schedule Placement : Class / Column : Placement determined based on number of post-graduate university semester units taken after BA / BS Degree at an accredited institution. Step : A school nurse shall be given salary schedule credit for previous school nurse experience and / or non-school RN experience on a year for year basis up to a maximum of fifteen (15) years. The District is willing to consider candidates with a BS Degree and a RN License that qualify for a Preliminary School Nurse Credential. Applying to obtain the preliminary credential is required prior to first day of paid service. This position is eligible for a $10,000 signing bonus. This bonus is paid 1 / 2 in the first paycheck and 1 / 2 upon completion of the 2nd year of service as defined in the collective bargaining agreement. Learn More
